Hope everyone enjoys the
new stuff. We're in the
studio working up new
songs for early Fall 2008
release. I'm collaborationg
with friends old and new at
various studios in and
around North Texas with
great results. Some of the
new songs really aren't all
that new, considering they've
been in our live sets for a
while now. But they seem
to take on a new life in
the studio, which is great to
hear unfold. Getting back
out on the road a little bit
again; Missouri was great to
us as always. Coming up
will be shows in Oklahoma,
Arkansas, and Mississippi.
Seems like our out-of-state
followings continue to grow
at a beautifully rapid pace.
Always amazes me how our
little cottage industry
spreads by word-of-mouth
with little or no "real"
marketing. What is "real"
marketing in music anyway?
No one else seems to
know, either. Well, I'm off
to prepare Kurt Jr. for
bedtime, which usually
involves a bath and some
high-octane wrestling while
SpongeBob blares in the
background. See you this
weekend if you're in Fort
Worth, see you in the
future if you're elsewhere.
