This weekend at the Elephant

We'll be doing a little different kind of a show this Saturday night at the White Elephant. It will be an acoustic band show, and we'll be starting at 9pm sharp, no opener. We'll be playing some stuff that normally doesn't make it into our regular full band shows, so it will be a nice way to mix things up a bit. Marian Brackney will be joining us on fiddle and Geoff West will be slinging the dobro and acoustic guitar. Hobbs will be on bass and will probably be wearing some kind of ridiculous western wear. Or he may be in his Magnum PI uniform. Either way, we will rock and you will be satisfied. See you there.

The Cropdusters

The Cropdusters are a new super group featuring Will Hobbs, Jack Doyle of Jack County, myself, and some of the finest players the area has to offer. We'll be playing every Monday night at the White Elephant starting in April. The set list will be nothing but 80s and 90s country classics. No original material, just the hits. Steve Earle, Hal Ketchum, Rodney Crowell, Blackhawk, Vince Gill, Gary Stewart, George Strait, you get the picture. This is a full-band, all-out, old-fashioned dancehall show. Pure fun, no self-absorbed singer-songwriter stuff here. Come on out and hear what the radio seems to have forgotten. Bring your dancing shoes. See you there.

New album is a hit

Depending on how you look at it. "Fast Train Home" has sold unbelievably well in it's first few weeks of being available at the live shows. It is now available as as a full-album download, or individual tracks can be purchased through the store on this website. It won't be released on iTunes, Amazon, and the other big retailers until later this spring. The CD will become available online later this Spring. Til then, live shows are the only place to get them. Thanks for all of the great feedback thus far. Folks seem to like what they're hearing. And that's good news.
